The evil always said it best,
Tame the strong and lead the rest,
It's the same story everywhere,
Always keep one set spare.
Your hair hides your unknown eyes,
Siney shield to the mind suprise,
You keep it hidden all within,
What's your name and origin?
Seated in the corner,
They all surround her,
Scruffy smoke circles begin to rise,
All feeble attempts to gain said prize.
Who can tell if you're impressed?
Who do you think is best dressed?
If only they knew what to do,
If only they had knowledge of you.
I remember when we spoke once,
You'd made me feel quite the dunce,
Your words still stick in my mind,
I swear before I was near-blind.
As I focus on the present,
I hold the lighter I was lent,
I come over and wait awhile,
Hand it back and recieve a smile.
I returned to my table,
I'd made the others feel less abled,
Green eyes glazed + stared,
How they thought, this can't be fair.
One by one they gave up their quest,
Your drink got you through the test,
I wondered whether to speak to you,
Till I heard, "How do you do?".
Looking up I saw that smile,
Speaking now seemed quite the trial,
"I'm quite well, would you like a drink?"
I still could not see you blink.
The evening ended on a happy note,
Her last words a memorable quote,
"I hope to see you soon, but if we miss,
I leave you with my loving kiss".
